This site is dedicated to my mom Cynthia “Cindi” Gale Fitton who passed away from complications of systemic lupus on September 27 1999. I can’t really articulate what I want to say except that she loved and treated almost everyone as family.
One thing that is easy to tell you about Mom is that she loved to fish. Alaska, Canada, Cabo, Belize, Florida, Costa Rica and New Zealand were some of her favorite places to fish. On her first trip near Klawock Alaska she caught a 47 pound lingcod and for years afterward was known as The Lingcod Lady. Though she made the trip to southeast Alaska every year for 20 years she took her love of fishing all over the world.
That’s what we’re going to share here at FishingMama.com. Almost all of the videos come from VHS tapes so video quality and sound may not always be there, but Mom’s passion for fishing and character is.
Enjoy!
